A gentle guide for when everything feels unclear
There’s a kind of stuck that’s hard to explain.
It’s not that you don’t want more.
It’s not that you’re not trying.
It’s just that… you don’t know what comes next.
You’ve outgrown parts of your life.
You’re starting to see things differently.
You know something needs to change…
But you don’t have a clear direction yet.
And that can feel incredibly frustrating.
Because how are you supposed to move forward
when you don’t even know where you’re going?
If that’s where you are right now, I want to offer you a different way to look at it.
🌿 You’re Not Stuck—You’re Between Versions of You
This space you’re in?
It’s not failure.
It’s not a lack of direction.
It’s a transition.
You’re no longer who you used to be…
but you haven’t fully stepped into who you’re becoming yet.
And in that space, clarity doesn’t come all at once.
It builds.
💛 Clarity Comes From Movement (Not the Other Way Around)
We’ve been taught to wait until things make sense.
To wait until we feel ready.
To wait until we have a plan.
But life doesn’t really work that way.
Clarity doesn’t show up first.
Action does.
And sometimes, that action is smaller than you think.
I talk more about this in
👉 [The Power of Small Steps: How to Build Momentum in Your Life]
because forward movement doesn’t come from big leaps—it comes from small, consistent ones.
Even small, uncertain, imperfect action.
Because every step you take gives you information:
- what feels right
- what doesn’t
- what you want more of
- what you’re ready to leave behind
You don’t figure it all out in your head.
You figure it out by living through it.
✨ Start Smaller Than You Think
When everything feels unclear, we tend to overthink the “big picture.”
But forward movement rarely starts with big decisions.
It starts with small ones.
Small shifts.
Small choices.
Small moments of honesty with yourself.
That might look like:
- trying something new, even if you’re not sure it’s “right”
- changing your routine just a little
- saying yes to something different
- saying no to something that no longer feels aligned
You don’t need a full plan.
You just need a starting point.

—not overwhelming goals, but ones that actually feel aligned with where you are right now.
🌸 Trust Yourself Before You Feel Ready
One of the hardest parts of this season
is learning to trust yourself again.
Especially if you’ve spent a long time:
- second-guessing your decisions
- putting yourself last
- or following what you thought you were supposed to do
But moving forward requires something simple (and not always easy):
Choosing to listen to yourself…
even before you fully trust what you’re hearing.
That’s how self-trust is rebuilt.
Not all at once.
But one decision at a time.
Rebuilding that kind of self-trust takes time, especially if you’ve been through a season of change.

💫 You Don’t Need the Whole Path
It’s easy to believe you need to have everything figured out before you begin.
But you don’t.
You don’t need to know where this all leads.
You don’t need to have every step mapped out.
You just need to take the next one.
And then the next.
And then the next.
That’s how direction is created.
💛 A Gentle Reminder for You
If you’ve been feeling stuck, uncertain, or unsure of what’s next…
There’s nothing wrong with you.
You’re not lost.
You’re in the process of finding your way.
And even if it feels slow…
even if it feels messy…
You are moving forward.
🌿 Keep Going
You don’t need to rush this season.
You don’t need to force clarity.
Just stay open.
Stay honest.
And keep taking small steps toward yourself.
Because one day, you’ll look back and realize…
You figured it out by moving through it.
✨ Closing
And if you’re in a season where everything feels a little unclear right now…
just know—that’s okay.
This is often the space where the most meaningful change begins.
💛 A Small Place to Start
If you want something simple to ground you, come back to your self-care planner…
or take a few quiet minutes today and ask yourself:
What feels like the next right step for me?
Until next time, I am here cheering you on.
Sincerely,
Jesse J.
