How to Start Becoming the Woman You Know You’re Meant to Be

Not all at once—but in small, intentional ways

At some point, something shifts.

It’s subtle at first.

You start thinking differently.
You notice things you didn’t before.
You begin to feel like… there’s more for you.

More life.
More alignment.
More you.

And with that comes a quiet question:

“How do I actually become her?”

The woman you can see in your mind.
The one who feels confident, grounded, and fully herself.

The answer might not be what you expect.

🌿 You Don’t Find Her—You Choose Her

There isn’t a moment where you suddenly become a completely different person.

There’s no overnight transformation.

Becoming her happens in smaller, quieter ways.

You choose her.

In the way you think.
In the way you speak to yourself.
In the way you show up in your life.

Again and again.

And sometimes that choice starts in ways that feel small or even uncomfortable.
I’ve talked about that more here:
👉 [Learning to Do Things Alone: Liberating, Scary, and Absolutely Worth It]
because becoming often begins with doing things differently—even when it feels unfamiliar.

💛 It Starts With Identity, Not Perfection

Most of us think we need to:

  • fix everything
  • feel ready
  • have it all figured out

But becoming isn’t about perfection.

It’s about identity.

It’s asking:

“Who do I want to be in this moment?”

And then choosing to act in alignment with that—
even if it feels unfamiliar at first.

✨ Small Shifts Create Big Change

Becoming her doesn’t require a complete life overhaul.

It starts with small, intentional shifts:

  • choosing rest instead of burnout
  • speaking to yourself with more kindness
  • setting boundaries where you didn’t before
  • doing one thing each day that aligns with the life you want

These things may feel small…

But they’re not.

They’re how everything changes.

🌸 You’re Allowed to Evolve

One of the hardest parts of becoming
is letting go of who you used to be.

The habits.
The patterns.
The expectations.

Even the version of you that once felt familiar.

But growth requires evolution.

And you’re allowed to change.

You’re allowed to want something different.
You’re allowed to become someone new.

Growth often asks us to let go of what used to feel normal.
If you’re in that space, this might resonate with you too:

—because becoming often looks like stepping into something new before you feel fully ready.

💫 You Don’t Need Permission

You don’t need anyone to tell you it’s okay.

You don’t need validation to move forward.

If something inside you is telling you
that you’re ready for more…

That’s enough.

💛 A Gentle Reminder for You

You don’t have to become her all at once.

You don’t have to get it perfect.

You just have to start choosing her—
in small ways, every single day.

🌿 Keep Going

The version of you that you’re becoming?

She’s not as far away as you think.

She’s built in the choices you make today.

✨ Closing

And if you’re in a season of becoming right now…

just know—you’re already on your way.

💛 A Small Place to Start

Ask yourself:

What would the version of me I’m becoming do today?

And start there.

Until next time, I am here cheering you on.

Sincerely,

Jesse J.
